Hardware license (HL) key installationMake sure that the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment is installed on the machine where the license key is to be installed (hasplms.exe process is active). The link to instruction on the environment installation is provided in See also block at right. Connect the hardware key to the machine where the protected product is/will be installed. If the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment was previously successfully installed, the key will be automatically detected and the protected product will be ready for use. In Also, in case the your license key is detected, you will see information about it on the Sentinel Keys tab of Sentinel Admin Control Center web-application (link: http://127.0.0.1:1947/). |

Software license (SL) key installation
Before you start the new license key installation process, make sure that the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment is installed (hasplms.exe process is active). The link to instruction on the environment installation is provided in See also block at right.
First of all, download the Sentinel RUS (Remote Update System) utility: http://downloads.vit.ua/redistr/HASP/7.4/EOAWT/RUS_EOAWT.exe.
To install a new software key:
Launch the Sentinel RUS utility.
Select the Installation of new protection key option. Click the Collect Information button. This action These actions will initiate creation of unique fingerprint of your machine's hardware. As the output, you will obtain a file with c2v ("customer-to-vendor") extension — save it on your machine.
Send the c2v-file to your manager. In return, the manager will send you the corresponding v2c ("vendor-to-customer") file. This file will contain the licensing information that allows usage of protected application only on the machine where the corresponding c2v-file was generated.
Launch the Sentinel RUS utility again. Go to the Apply license file tab. Upload the received v2c-file you received from manager. This action These actions will apply the unique licensing information on your server.
Open the Sentinel Admin Control Center web-application (http://127.0.0.1:1947/). On the Sentinel Keys tab, the information about the newly installed software key will be printed.
