This guide was created as an extension for Working with VIT licenses. Quick Guide, and provides with the digest of Sentinel HASP / Sentinel LDK documentation applicable to VIT licensing concepts.

The goal is to explain the basic concepts of Sentinel products. This will give you the understanding of your actions while following instructions from Working with VIT licenses. Quick Guide.

Font conventions used in this guide:

Lettering

Description

Bold

Denotes keystrokes, UI elements (like menu items, window names, fields), filenames, directory names, terminal commands.

Italic

Used for marking the terms mentioned for the first time.

Orange

Used for emphasis.

Used abbreviations:

  • LPR — license plate recognition.

  • LP — license plate.

  • OS — operating system.

  • UI — user interface.

  • VMS — video management software.

  • fps — frames per second.
