Recognition protocol object displays recognition events in its UI. If functionalities of AutoCode LPR and VitSQLquery are configured properly, the recognized numbers that were additionally found in external databases will be marked red. 




  1. Create a new Recognition protocol object on the Interfaces tab.

  2. Select an AutoCode recognition module object which will provide events to be viewed in recognition protocol's UI.

    You can additionally set such parameters as Coordinates (X, Y, W, H)Allow movementWindow title barAllow to edit numbers. For detailed description of Recognition protocol's functionality, refer to AutoCode administrator's guide.

    As a configuration result, license plate recognition events will be displayed in the newly created client window.

If you want a distinctive alarming sound to be played if recognized license number was found in the external DB, you have to create a Recognition display object (on the Interfaces tab). On the settings tab of Recognition protocol, select the newly created recognition display in Screen to display numbers dropdown list.
