The activation/update procedures are the same for both software and hardware license keys. |
To activate/update your license:
Make sure Sentinel LDK Run-time environment is installed on your target machine.
- Download the Sentinel RUS (Remote Update System) utility (you can download it from http://downloads.vit.ua/redistr/HASP/7.4/EOAWT/RUS_EOAWT.exe).
Launch the Sentinel RUS utility.
Select the Update of existing protection key option. Click the Collect Information button.

Note If you have more than one license key installed on your local machine, the Select HASP key window will appear after you click the Collect Information button:

In this window, you will have to select a key which needs to be activated or updated. Note that HASP HL stands for hardware license key, while HASP SL stands for software license key.
If you have doubts about which key to select, use the Sentinel Admin Control Center. This web-application will help you in determining the exact license structure of each of the keys.
As the output, you will get a file with c2v ("customer-to-vendor") extension — save it on your machine.
Send the c2v-file to your manager. In return, the manager will send you the corresponding v2c ("vendor-to-customer") file. This file will contain the updated licensing information that can only be applied on the machine where the corresponding c2v-file was generated.
Launch the Sentinel RUS utility again. Go to the Apply license file tab. Upload the v2c-file received from manager.
Info These actions will apply new licensing information on your server. You can check the updated parameters of your license key with the help of Sentinel Admin Control Center web-application (http://127.0.0.1:1947/).
