Verifier installation

Verifier installation

  1. Install and configure the latest version of NUUO Mainconsole.
  2. Install and configure AutoCode VMS Parking.
  3. Install the database patch via pgAdmin III:
    1. launch pgAdmin;
    2. connect to autocode database (which is created while AutoCode VMS installation);
    3. open and run (with F5 key) the patch file.
  4. Make sure that the Verifier module (which you are going to install on step 5) will use the proper recognition engine. To to this, open the settings.ini file. It is located in the _config folder within the Verifier installation package. The value of recognizer parameter must correspond to the name of engine you are going to use.

    For example, the "Fetch25" value specifies that the AutoSDK recognizer will be used.

  5. Launch the installer.

  6. Check the Recognize license plates from VMS option.

  7. Select a country which license numbers are to be recognized from the Default recognition dropdown. If there is more than one country, use the Cascade recognition dropdowns.

  8. Select the Offered by Overseer for a particular frame option.

  9. Specify database connection parameters or, if you want to use the default ones, click Next.

  10. Specify working directories for Verifier. If you want to use the default ones, click Next

  11. The installation is completed. Restart your computer.
