For its products license protection, VIT uses software and hardware solutions developed by Gemalto: Sentinel HASP, Sentinel EMS, Sentinel LDK.
This quick guide contains instructions for working with license keys, targeted at administrators and integrators of VIT products. So while only the practical aspects are covered here, you may find VIT licensing concept and license key specifications in Working with VIT licenses. Detailed Guide.
In this guide:
instructions are provided both for Windows and Linux platforms;
license keys with AAOTB batch code are not mentioned;
software license activation and update with the help of Product Key is not described, only with the help of c2v/v2c files and the Sentinel RUS utility; you may find information on using Product Key in Working with VIT licenses. Detailed Guide.
AAOTB license keys are being currently removed from service. However, the structure of HTTP-requests (download links) for corresponding environment and remote update utilities have the same format, as for EOAWT keys.
