[ADVANCED] License update/activation with a Product Key

Step 1.
From your manager, you have received:
Your unique Product Key, a string of characters which represents your product activation/update order.
A link to the Sentinel EMS Customer Portal, a web-portal to be accessed by a customer (you) in order to activate/update a license with the received Product Key.
As you may be aware, the Product Key can be used multiple times, which makes it very useful for updating/activating products with identical functionalities on multiple end-user's machines.
Step 2.
Customer Portal provides with two types of Product Key activation — Online and Offline. Determine which of the two is suitable for you:
If you have an opportunity to access the Customer Portal from a computer where protected VIT software is installed, | If you only have an opportunity to access the Customer Portal from the computer where protected VIT software is NOT installed, |

follow this instruction on Online Activation. | follow this instruction on Offline Activation. |
End-users usually activate/update their licenses via Online Activation. | Software distributors usually generate licenses for end users via Offline Activation. Also, if you are an end-user, but due to any reasons you can not access the Customer Portal from the computer where protected software is installed, perform the Offline Activation. |
